Product quality should be understood — not assumed.
We believe the work behind a well-made luminaire deserves to be seen and understood. Manufacturers need a clearer way to demonstrate it, and specifiers need a stronger basis for their choices.
OUR MISSION
Advancing compliance and quality in lighting.
We help manufacturers manage the evidence behind their products and make it easier for specifiers to understand.
For us, quality brings together safety, performance and sustainability, with compliance as its foundation. Understanding that whole picture means examining both the claims and what supports them.
The product is designed and assessed to protect people and property throughout its intended use.
SAFETY
The luminaire delivers the characteristics it claims under the conditions to which those claims apply.
PERFORMANCE
The product’s environmental impact, durability, repairability and end-of-life are considered through information that can be examined.
SUSTAINABILITY
COMPLIANCE
Compliance is not a separate dimension. It is the foundation on which quality stands.
Built from first-hand experience.
Our founder, Patrik Jokiharju, is an electrical engineer with experience across lighting design, technical product support, laboratory testing and product compliance.
Across these roles, he saw a recurring problem: information about product quality was scattered across documents, organisations and disciplines, making the whole picture difficult to assess.
That experience shapes how we connect product information and assess its evidence.
OUR VISION
A deeper understanding of quality throughout a product’s life.
Today, new evidence and further reviews build on the same product record, preserving earlier findings.
Our vision extends this record to include what a product’s life in use reveals. Over time, it could connect design and testing evidence with experience from maintenance, repair and everyday operation.
We want manufacturers, specifiers, laboratories and other users to draw on that shared knowledge in the form they need, with its sources and history intact.
Help make product quality better understood.
Whether you make, specify or assess luminaires, we’d like to hear where product information falls short in your work.
