During the initial assessment, we determine the certificate requirements, familiarize ourselves with the product, ascertain the status of the product and documentation, and confirm the desired testing location.
After the initial assessment, we make a preliminary offer, which includes our share as well as an estimate of the costs of testing and certification. -
In the preliminary inspection, we thoroughly familiarize ourselves with the product and assess the conformity of the product and documentation to the standard.

In the traditional certification process, the certificate applicant buys testing and certification directly from the laboratory/certification body. The service includes only product testing and certification. The applicant for the certificate remains responsible for the standard compliance of the product and documentation sent for testing, for correcting deficiencies found during testing, and for providing additional explanations. These can be very time-consuming steps.
CertiLITE focuses more on the beginning of the process, the activities before testing. Delays in the traditional certification process are usually due to two reasons: missing information from the product and documentation, and deficiencies that occurred during testing. By performing a pre-inspection on the product and putting together a ready-made certification package, we are able to minimize delays.
We also act as the primary contact to the laboratory and clarify any challenges that may arise during testing and take care of further investigations. This frees up the certificate applicant's own time.
As a difference to the traditional certification process, we are able to offer a concrete service, for example, to create the required documents and to tell how the possible defects of the product should be corrected. Laboratories are not able to offer concrete services like this, due to the rules related to the role of laboratories.

As a rule, we use European testing laboratories that have the necessary standards in their area of competence and are official CBTL laboratories.
The final choice depends on our customer's wishes, the price of testing and the location of the laboratory in relation to the production site. Our customers always get to make the final decision when choosing a laboratory.
